Shipping & Returns


At the current time we only ship orders to New Zealand addresses. Please enter a physical delivery address as our courier cannot deliver to a PO Box address. 

We use Go Sweet Spot for delivery all of our parcels throughout New Zealand.  Go Sweet Spot provide a reliable and prompt delivery service through NZ Couriers and Post Haste.  Once despatched you will receive a tracking number so that you can track your package online within transit.

By default, a signature will be required for confirmation of delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, a notification card will be left in your post box. Your parcel will then be taken to your closest depot awaiting collection or re-delivery.

Please make sure to select the "Authority to Leave (ATL)" option if you'd like the courier to leave your package in a safe place. Please note that if you select ATL deliveries this is at your own risk - we do not take responsibility for parcels missing in this instance as our couriers have carried out delivery as per the terms stated with ATL deliveries.

What are the delivery costs?

Shipping to non rural addresses is a $6.99 fixed charge per order.

Orders to rural addresses (RD) are $9.99 per order.

Gift Wrapping

We care about the environment at the Wooden Toy Store, so we try to recycle our packaging where possible. We provide a gift wrapping service for $6.95 per item should you wish. We use beautiful gift wrap and lovely organza ribbon to make your gift extra special.  

Our Refund & Exchange Policy:

If you're not happy, then we're not happy!  We hope you will be thrilled with your purchase from the Wooden Toy Store and we do our utmost to ensure that you have accurate shopping information and that everything reaches you in perfect condition. However, we understand that occasionally you might want to return goods to us. We therefore provide a no risk - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason you're not happy with our products, return them to us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund or exchange them, no questions asked.

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or defective product, please email us at as soon as you can, so we can meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and take care of it promptly for you.
